isobath
An open-source engineering interview guide, from language and spec to infrastructure. Started as the Frontend Master Prep Series, rebuilt as isobath.
- Role
- Author and maintainer.
- Outcome
- 127+ GitHub stars and 40 forks.
- Stack
- TypeScript, React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS
Problem
Interview prep material is scattered and shallow. Engineers needed one structured resource written at a senior level.
What I built
- 197 questions on JavaScript and TypeScript, from a 30-second answer down to the spec and engine
- 762 spaced-repetition flashcards
- 28 topics mapped across frontend, backend, infrastructure and engineering practice
Key decisions
- Wrote one Markdown file per question with a fixed structure, and generate the site and its checks from those files.
- Ran every code example before publishing it, and recorded the sources for each claim.
